Pat Fay's Resume and some biographical info
Pat Fay and his wife successfully managed the construction of their 3,500 square foot (SF) home in Kirkland, Washington without a general contractor. It was built for $65 per SF when the going rate for home construction was $150 per SF (in 1994). Now homeowners are routinely being charged $250/SF to as much as $600/SF. Buy the Pat Fay Method book for $40 and build for $100/SF in 2008. Buy the book now.

Mr. Fay has taught a class on this subject since 1996, training over 600 people from the greater Seattle area on how to build without the high cost of a general contractor. Now Pat Fay's comprehensive book on home construction management is available to help all homeowners understand the home construction process. The idea that knowledge is power is no more pertinent than in home construction. Homeowners can save tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars on their project by following the principals of the Pat Fay Method.

Pat has over 33 years of experience as a construction manager, engineer and cost estimator in house and industrial construction.
